To Buy or Not to buy?

I think you should forget about buying right now. I know this sounds crazy for a Realtor to be saying this but what the heck. The only places you can afford are in undesirable areas, or huge homes 1.5 hours away? I may be alone in thinking this but I think you're going to see a lot more foreclosures and people defaulting on their mortgages. Plus which, if you buy a house now and rent it out, where are you going to live? Rent? If you've never been a landlord before, I think you're in for a real education! Personally, I would save your money until your husband finishes school, gets a steady job and you can afford some place in an area you like and want to be.
