Denver QB Kyle Orton's Contract expires this coming offseason and Head Coach Josh McDaniels must decide to stick with Orton or find a new Quarterback. The Quarterback that fits the bill for McDaniel's offense is Texas's Colt McCoy. McCoy is a heisman finalist who in his senior season led the Longhorns to the National Championship game before being knocked out on the 2nd play. He happens to be a great fit for Denver's offense, which requires its quarterbacks to play out of the shotgun, maintain no arm strength and not make reads. McCoy's draft stock has fallen from a first round pick to a 4th or 5th Round selection however he can remerge with a great Senior Bowl and Combine.
