Could the Rainbow be proof of the flood from the bible.?

I think before the flood, the ozone layer had billions of gallons of water outside of it shielding the earth from UV rays, hence the bible talking about man living for 500 years plus. And i think the flood occoured after the sun burned through the ozone. And Noah was warned by the infinite (positivity) "god" that there would be a flood. And after the flood, all the bodies were buried thousands of feed deep in the new deeper ocean. and man began to die earlier as a result to gradually more direct exposure to the sun. My question is couldnt scientist as a result researching this prove or disprove this flood having happened? and possibly help science move forward a little instead of trying to prove monkey stuff. i think by proving that the bibles inprovable you prove exactly what is say ; that you need faith and god cant be proven or disproven. i think scientists would get alot further if they USED the bible. Your thoughts ???
