I'm in a stalemate?

Professionally, you have to do what is best for your company. As for your personal life, don't bring the job home with you. It sounds like your wife is insecure, that's what usually causes people to be jealous & it doesn't help the situation for you to be telling her how perfect, amazing, whatever this other woman is. you're feeding her insecurity by doing that. Keep it to yourself & find ways to boost your wife's self esteem & her confidence in you & in herself.
