What preparatory steps can I take to better my chances of being accepted into SUNY Canton?

I'm 16 years old, a junior attending high school. I'm a former student of the Bronx High School of Science. I transferred out of Bronx Science because my transcript grades were horrible. I was the biggest truant Bronx Science had seen, my ulative average is 71. I transferred into City-As-School High School, which is an alternative high school and is unique because of it's curriculum. Students are able to achieve credits through internships served throughout New York City, currently I am interning with the NYPD at the 111th precinct. I am looking for any and all advice on aiding my chances of acceptance to SUNY Canton. I am highly motivated to pursue a career in Criminal Justice and Canton fits my needs like no other colleges. I plan on becoming a part of the New York State Police as a trooper and then a detective among the Bureau of Criminal Investigation. I'm open to any advice or suggestions. If you think of any additional places for me to post this question, please let me know. Thank you for taking the time to read this, I can't express how grateful I truly am. THANKS!!
