Had heads cleaned pressure tested, valve seals installed, .007 milled on head surface and flushed the engine block. All this for the tune of about $800 along with dirty and cut up hands. How long before I start seeing results working out?

I have been currently working out twice a day for the last two weeks. In the morning I take 5 grams of creatine and five grams of Jack3d, and I workout for an hour and a half of cardio. After a protein shake and a good 3 hours of rest I go to do a strength workout lasting around the same time. After another protein shake and a salad or something similar I rest for the rest of the day, mostly. My dietary and nutrition are decent, I don't spend the majority of my time eating junk. On rare occasion I would have something that wouldn't be seen as "ok" My main question is, how long before I start seeing any results?

I got a 177 out of 240 and didn't study or anything. I'm a junior and I've only taken the PSAT once. I didn't take it my sopre year. I would get the Washington D.C. book for Dummies and read it. Go to the National Mall. See all the Museum they are all together. Each one takes at least 1/2 day. Holocaust Museum is also a must for history buffs. It may be too late for the private tour but you can met at the White House visitor session to get on the tours for the day. I loved Arlington Cemetery and the Jackson's home. Right outside Washington is Washington's home Mt. Vernon we spent almost a whole day there. The battle field up by the airport was wonderful the guide made you feel like you were right there in the battle. Bull Run I think it was called. I spend 6 whole days in Washington, 4 inside the city and two outside the city. We learned so much.

she is a normal happy pup. Around strangers, she's generally very timid, BUT I took her to the pet store for the first time yesterday, and she was so scared she began shaking uncontrollably. She was brought in to the shelter as a stray. They say she is 3 yrs old, and she clearly has had at least one litter in the past. How often should I clean my Betta's 3.5 gal (U.S.) tank?

My son was gifted with a beautiful scarlet betta for his 2nd birthday, and I know that these fish can live from 3-6 years if cared for properly. So I want to make sure that I'm doing it right. I found alot of info on websites, but not any about how often my tank should be cleaned. After we recieved the fish (in a totally unacceptable gl cube the size of my fist) I read up on them and bought him a new 3.5 gal tank w/ a heater, thermometer and filter. I used smooth natural pebbles for substrate and put in a few long, leafy silk plants. I bought the betta pellets and the bloodworms and I've been making sure that his tank is a comfortable 80 degrees Farenheit. So, do any of you know how often I should clean the tank? Any other suggestions are also welcome.

New Zealand accent is insulted?

I saw a post earlier about NZ accents so I decided to look it up, being a 14 year old New Zealander wanting to see what others views were on our accent. I was a bit annoyed with how I kept seeing posts about New Zealanders mispronouncing vowels for e.g fush and chups? Who the hell says fush and chups? I certainly don't and none of my friends do either. I think a lot of people have only heard bad impersonators and news readers talk in a NZ accent and so they don't really have any idea what we talk like. I'm not sure but I don't think Americans would compare themselves to news readers. Its true we talk differently region to region but we don't talk to the extent that some pople have said. What do other people think about this? (not trying to be rude but this isn't another post for Australians to bag New Zealanders so if you want to do that go someplace else)

Because it is. It disregards scientific facts about the earth. Creationists don't use basic scientific procedure. It only targets a specific set of creationist religions ideas, and it is a completely biased process. Presents for my mom - need more ideas?

For my mom I bought her a Dennis Bo leopard print faux fur throw. It is very nice and soft. I also so far bought her a triple wick candle from bath and body works and a very soft v neck fleece with a matching scarf. Giving Prevacid?

My 3 mo old son is on Prevacid for reflux. Usually I just stick the half of a solutab in the back of his cheek and have him suck on a pacifier for a little while. He's started drooling so much because of teething that it doesn't go down now. He's also pushing the pacifier out which pushes the medicine out. He's never liked the pacifier, but he's always taken it for a little while with his medicine. Since this isn't a health question as much as a convenience question, I'd rather check here first than call his doctor first. So... does anyone have any tips on giving his solutabs to him?

phantasy star was an amazing game on the dreamcast and the offline part of the game was brilliant i clocked nearly 400 hours on it and my mrs over 200, the online part was just as good and it showed sony and microsoft how online games should realy work it was pure genious. it was a shame the dreamcast didnt go mutch further cos it was an ace syetem. then phantasy star universe came out on the 360, its basically the same thing all over again and has a mive cult following, well worth a look, again the game offline was ace and mive. and online its still going strong more people joining daily, theres hundreds of differ missions to play or you can free roam killing monsters and meeting and fighting people if you wish. its outstanding. now the bad bits,,, the only one i can think of is having to pay the subscription fee for it. so your system will probably be the same, im not sure though and even if it hasnt got the online capabuilitys every game so far has been ace so itll be well worth buying. anyway my friend dont let idiots put you off, you do what you thinks best.. bye m8...

Universal Health Care and the military?

That is a good point..and it hasn't been addressed. At this point, Universal Health Care is the US, no matter what is said during campain season, is at least a decade from happening and that is only after both parties could agree on what that plan should be. And you need to understand that universal health care will not mean equal health care...people can still use private providers if they choose not to use the ones involved in the government program. If it did happen, my gut says the military would offer to supplement the plan to allow wider choice of providers outside the federal programs or the pay levels would go up to make up for the fact they no longer had to provide the health care. In any case, I would not worry about it just yet.

I'm now 14, i'll be 15 on December 6th. I've been through a lot in my past, i've been verbally, mentally, and physically abused. I've been molested and thrown away. My mom was constantly out on dates and left me at home to watch my at that time 6 year old brother. My mom and I have never gotten along. We've gotten in physical fights before and everyday more and more arguments were occuring. 3 years ago, my 7th grade year, i went through a depression stage and overdosed and was sent to a rehab center for 3 weeks. When i got back, nothing changed. My mom and I were still constantly getting in fights. Each day my dad would call me or something and remind me about how worthless i was and how he wished i would've never came into the world. I started having a long distance relationship with a boy and hour or two away. After dating him for 9 months, we ran away for two weeks. The whole time i was gone, my mom nor dad called me not one time to see if i was okay. After we turned ourselves in to the police, my parents came and got me and acted lke nothing even happened. They didnt care about how i felt, or what went on. The night i came home, my mom said to me "I really dont want you living here, i'm scared you might kill me in my sleep." The next day, she kicked me out and i moved in with my granfather. I've been living with him for 4 months now. My father isnt apart of my life. He doesnt call, visit or anything. He sends my mother child support, and every once in a while she'll send a little bit for me and keeps the rest for herself. My grandfather cant financially support me. He's retired and lives on a disability check. I've wanted to become emancipated since i was the age of 12. I've looked up on all the regulations. I can get a job, and my fiance' has a job and is planning on getting a place when he turns 18 in a couple months. When i turn 16, i plan on getting a job and moving in with him. I've researched and researched and have set my mind to this. I know i've screwed up alot in my life, but i've also matured and i know that i cant stay around here much longer. I want to be my own guardian. I want to have full control of my own self. I have good grades, i'm big on school and my future. Is there any possible way i could become emancipated?

You bet. It sounds like you are alittle more mature than the average college entrance student. How about online college? Or, it sounds like a technical student is more for you. Google some. Maybe even go to the college you are currently putting on hold and express your concerns. I would recommend you take a deep breath, recognize that you have some fabulous ets, know that you are in a transitional stage, and maybe take a break from school. It will always be there. I do, however, worry that you will p up your scholarship opportunities. Please hang in there, I followed a similar path and I turned out just fine. I would have never believed it either.

Im in middle school (7th grade) and i was wondering if you were allowed to request a homeroom change. I really dont like the kids in my homeroom and they all ignore me. I honestly do believe they separated me from my other friends from last year. Our school dropped a bunch of teachers and so the schools teams (We have like team 7A , 7B , and 7C to separate students) went from 7 A, B and C, to 7 A and B. all of my friends are in 7B with me and they all got put into the same homeroom, and they put me in a random homeroom. I think they did it on purpose. Is there anybody my guardians could contact to make the switch? or is it possible?

I had the morning of Saturday April 23rd and in the afternoon of Sunday the 24th. On Tuesday May 3rd, I noticed changes to my cm like wet ewcm but had a negative OPK. On Wednesday the 4th I had a positive OPK and normal ovulation pains. We did not bd on tuesday, wednesday, thursday, friday, or saturday of that week. We use natural family planning but because i have irregular cycles I cant use the timing method only my body signs and tempt changes for detection. So I thought since we had 3 days before we probably missed it conceiving. I have been extremly tired so I took a dollar tree test this morning and it was a faint positive. i bought a First Response test and it was a clear positive. I am 10dpo. Why are birds swarming underneath my car?

I know they're attracted to mirrors and shiny objects, but I'm quite certain there are no such features underneath my car, and the rims are aluminum, so they're not at all shiny (especially in the condition they're in right now). They used to gradually make their way to the car's under-side, but now they barely wait for the car to be put in park before they ambush from all sides. Normally, I'd laugh these silly antics off, but today I heard some intense pecking sounds going on right below my feet, and I'm concerned there is either something going on under my car that I don't know about, or that they will damage the wiring or mechanisms. It's not a seasonal situation, because it happens year-round. I'm not an expert on avian maternal behavior patterns, but I'm pretty sure that if there were a nest underneath my car, it would only involve the mother (maybe the father?), not an entire army of finches.

What happened to my neon tetras? They became diseased just after my plecostomus had problems ...?

I have a 55gal tank with 2 neon tetra, 1 black mollie, 1 silver mollie, 3 glofish, and 1 plecostomus. Long story I had to clean my tank completely because I found my plecostomus swimming upside down and in cirlces. I got him out thinking he was going to die, algea had build up so I removed them all. After setting the tank up my 2 neon fish were almost completely white. Research online leads me to believe they have pleistophora, caused by sporozoan. However the ways it says my tetras could have got this make no sense for my fish. I had no dead fish in my tank and I do not feed them live food. I feed flake food and freeze dried bloodworms. Could the freeze dried have the same effect as a live? And other than watching them and checking nitrates and all that how can I make sure my other fish won't contract this?

I recently purchased a car and the contract was signed, now they're telling me I'm not approved! Help?

I just bought a car on Saturday, May 14, 2011. I traded in my car and paid an additional $950. The contracts were signed by both myself and the dealership and I drove the car home that day. Four days later, on May 18, I got a call from the salesman that I worked with, telling me that there is a problem with approving the credit amount without a co-signer. Now if that was the case why was the contract drawn-up and signed by both parties? Doesn't the dealership have to have the loan approved first before the contract is signed? I later received a call the following day, from the same guy, saying that I can be approved for the car without a co-signer only if I put down an additional $3,000.00 or add another $30 to my monthly payments. I did call a lawyer that deals specifically with claims against car dealerships and left a message. I haven't got a returned call yet. Can someone please help? There is more to this story, but I don't have enough room in this box that will let me type it all out. What I stated is just a portion of the problem...
