Does anyone have an asus having ul50vt power4 gear confusing?

my power4 gear utility was having some glitches when it came to switching from power saving to high performance. by happy chance i stumbled across the recovery partition did my research then decided to go for it and do the restore(bogged down my drive testing out different freeware anyways). fixed not being able to switch from intel graphics to nvidia graphics . now to it going to a blank screen for 4 seconds when switching between power options . increased internet speed the trade off now my laptop fan run to loud even just recording my cles using the mic and even louder watching video via hdmi. lastly my recovery partition now says primary partition whats that all about.... no more asus for me
