I Will Be Visiting Washington By Myself, I Need Advice On Things That I Can Do There?

I would get the Washington D.C. book for Dummies and read it. Go to the National Mall. See all the Museum they are all together. Each one takes at least 1/2 day. Holocaust Museum is also a must for history buffs. It may be too late for the private tour but you can met at the White House visitor session to get on the tours for the day. I loved Arlington Cemetery and the Jackson's home. Right outside Washington is Washington's home Mt. Vernon we spent almost a whole day there. The battle field up by the airport was wonderful the guide made you feel like you were right there in the battle. Bull Run I think it was called. I spend 6 whole days in Washington, 4 inside the city and two outside the city. We learned so much.
