Females only...is it BV?

i have my appointment already scheduled for the 29th (ugh for having to wait that long!). I've had BV once before, a few years ago, but that was the last time. Recently after my last cycle, I noticed the tell-tale signs. I'm currently in a healthy, long-term relationship and have good hygiene. This is really bugging me out and putting a damper on my life, although he's very understanding and isn't freaked out by it at all...its more me being upset that I even have to deal with it. Anywho, where in the heck did it come from? I'm not promiscuous but I am a religious tampon-user and beings that it started after a cycle, I'm uming that it plays a role here. Ugh. Personal experience? Advice?
